Apple’s stock price continues to rise following this week’s WWDC keynote, where it introduced an Apple Intelligence suite of AI features for the iPhone, iPad and Mac. In today’s intraday trading, Apple overtook Microsoft to once again become the world’s most valuable company, but the two tech giants could trade places all day long.
Apple stock crossed the $200 mark and set a new all-time high on Tuesday. Today, the stock is up another 3% at the time of writing. Generative AI has been a buzz topic for investors since ChatGPT debuted in 2022, and Apple finally unveiling its own strategy for the technology has likely contributed to this wave.
Apple Intelligence features let users summarize text, create custom emojis and images, receive priority notifications, and more. Siri also gets smarter with Apple Intelligence, with better language understanding and more controls per app. Features require an iPhone 15 Pro or later, or a Mac or iPad with an M1 chip or later.
Apple had a market cap of $3.28 trillion at the time of writing, compared to $3.25 trillion for Microsoft.
