First-person shooter Starship Troopers: Extermination will leave Early Access and launch on October 11 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC via Steam for $49.99, publisher Knights Peak and developer Offworld Industries announced. The console versions will be available both physically and digitally.

New single player mode
Casper Van Dien, the star of the original 1997 film Spaceship Troopers film, will return as his iconic character Johnny Rico Starship Troopers: Exterminationputting players in charge of a new single-player game mode included in the launch of version 1.0, along with new enemies, locations and more!
The new game mode focuses entirely on a single-player experience, offering 25 different missions and a variety of player-enemy combat scenarios across multiple environments, with a second chapter to follow after launch. Deployed into an elite spec-ops group within the Mobile Infantry, players follow the orders of living legend General John “Johnny” Rico, proving their mettle against hordes of enemy arachnids with the help of three original NPC allies to to prove that they are worthy of recruitment. .

The Early Access edition of Starship Troopers: Extermination, as of update 0.7.0, is currently available for $29.99 USD (a lower price than when 1.0 launches) and puts players on the far-flung front lines in an all-out war with the Arachnid menace. Work together to complete objectives, acquire resources, build and defend your base of operations, then escape together to the extraction point. The battle will be intense, but as hardened warriors standing up for all humanity and the United Citizen Federation, they will leave not an inch of ground safe from the arachnids!
