GOOGLE is finally letting Android users edit their text messages after sending them.

The new feature is part of a major upgrade that adds a long list of perks to your Android phone.

Google unveiled the new advantages in a blog post, promising to “take your everyday life to the next level.”

The big new feature is the ability to edit texts sent via Google Messages.

You can now simply touch and hold an RCS message you have sent.

Google says you can “edit typos, add missing words, or clarify what you mean.”

But be warned: you can only make changes in the first 15 minutes after a message is sent.

The feature will be familiar to iPhone owners: it was included in Apple’s iOS 16 update.

However, editing your texts is not the only upgrade.

Google adds Instant Hotspot, which lets you quickly connect your Android tablet or Chromebook to your phone’s hotspot with one tap.
