The Finals new update is a little later than usual, but it is finally out and ready to download. It has been anticipated for a while, but the wait is now over and fans can install the latest patch. Here you can find Patch Notes for Finals Update 3.4.0 including massive nerfs and buffs to weapons, along with some changes to the much-hated Terminal Attack game mode.
Following the delay of this update, a new skin has leaked to the in-game store and is now available for purchase. It is the long-awaited Frog Onesie that fans have been asking for during Season 2. Alongside this recently released Frog Onesie, the developer has responded to the biggest complaint players had about Season 3 and they have clearly taken their feedback to heart by making changes to Terminal Attack.
Fans have been hoping for big changes since the beginning of Season 3, and the patch notes for The Finals Update 3.4. 0 reveal major developments, from balance changes to adjustments and fixes.
Patch Notes for Finals Update 3.4.0
Below you will find the patch notes for The Finals update 3.4.0:
Balance changes
Gadgets
Infringement Charge
- Minimum damage on the outer edge of explosions reduced to 0
- Damage radius increased from 2m to 2.5m
- Set the damage reduction on a linear scale from the maximum damage radius to the outer radius
Developer Note: Previously, our area effect (AoE) weapons and gadgets had distinct “damage planks” where damage would drop off drastically at the edge of an explosion’s inner radius and at the edge of its outer radius. This could cause AoE damage to feel slightly inconsistent. These changes will now cause damage to drop off linearly from the damage value of the inner radius down to 0 at the outer edge of the radius, which we hope will feel much more consistent. The radius of each AoE weapon has also been increased slightly as a result, as the outer edges of explosions now deal much less damage than before.

Game Modes
Developer’s Note: These changes are the first in a series of improvements we plan to make to each of our game modes over the course of Season 3, including our Cashout and Power Shift modes. These changes will cover a range of areas, from pacing to scoring. The goal is to smooth out some of the rough edges in each of our modes, hopefully leading to a better overall experience across all of our modes.
