SAMSUNG offers fast, wireless charging on its latest devices, and the benefits are easy to access.
The manufacturer has improved the battery life of the phones in the Galaxy S24 series. In addition, the phones are equipped with brighter displays and a powerful AI assistant.
According to the manufacturer, the devices support not only charging via a cable, but also “hassle-free wireless charging”. And it is easy to take advantage of these benefits.
Before you begin, make sure your software and associated apps are up to date.
If not, there is a simple solution. Navigate to “Settings” and tap on “Software Update”, followed by “Download and Install”.
Simply follow the on-screen instructions to update your phone.
The first three times you connect a Samsung Fast Charging accessory, a message will appear asking you to enable the fast charging function.
Some users can reach a higher level with Super Fast Charging, but this benefit is only available on certain phones.
Additionally, you must use the charger with a Samsung-approved 25W or 45W adapter.
To take advantage of the benefit, you must first know what to look for. The manufacturer urges customers to use only Samsung brand battery chargers.
A charger labeled “Adaptive Fast Charging” and a charging icon supports the Fast Charging function. Those labeled “Super Fast Charging” support Super Fast Charging.
There’s another advantage: users can charge another device using their own phone battery, which can be useful when you’re on the go.
The Wireless Power Sharing feature can be used to charge another Galaxy phone, Galaxy Watch, or Galaxy Buds. You can even charge another device while charging your own phone.
To activate the feature, unlock your phone and swipe down to open the notification panel. Tap the ‘Wireless Power Sharing’ icon.
All you need to do is place the device you want to charge in the middle of your phone, with the devices facing each other.
Once charging starts, you will be notified by a sound or vibration.
Once the other device is charged, simply disconnect it from your phone.
The manufacturer notes that it is important to remove any accessories or phone cases before attempting to use the feature, as they may get in the way.
Samsung also warns users to only use the USB Type-C cables that came with the device, as micro USB cables can cause damage.
To avoid wasting energy, unplug the charger from the wall outlet when not in use.
It is also important to remember that damage caused by misuse is not covered by the warranty. A full list of precautions is available on the Samsung website.
