First Descendant Update 1.0.3 Patch Notes – NEXON Brings Major Changes

First Descendant update 1.0.3 is out now on PS5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. The new update arrives after a period of server maintenance and brings a host of changes to the UI, as well as missions, characters, and infiltration. According to the patch notes further down the page, ‘Thrill Bomb’ and ‘Lightning Emission’ with the Ultimate Bunny ‘High-Voltage’ module will now target nearby targets, rather than random targets. Elsewhere, an option to disable the effects of other players has been added, while ‘away from keyboard (AFK)’ has been added to the player report menu. Patch Notes for First Descendant Update 1.0.3…

User Interface/UX

• An option has been added to disable the effects of other players (projectile explosion).

• To improve visibility, the explosion effect and duration of ‘Restigial Organ’ have been shortened.

• A system message has been added to make it easier to check the DBNO status of allies. An additional measure has also been added to the party member UI.

• The duration of the visual effect at completion of the study has been shortened for materials commonly used in research.

• ‘Absent from Keyboard (AFK)’ has been added to the player report menu.

• The UI has been updated so that important rewards obtained from completed missions are checked in the mission list.

• A feature has been added that allows you to view acquisition information directly in the target section of the Library.

• Fixed an issue where scrolling up occurred when moving the target item in the library to the corresponding item list.

• Added firearm types and round types to the weapon list in the library.

• Fixed an issue where a player who joined the Void Fusion Reactor could use the Reconstructing Device even if there was no Void Shard after completing the mission.

• When you complete a Void Fragment mission and collect two types of Void Shards, the number obtained will be increased by approximately 1.5 times.

• The Void Fusion Reactor mission tooltip has been updated to display the number of Void Shards.

• Added: Linked amorphous material to the Void Fusion Reactor mission tooltip.

• The Void Shard attribute is now displayed directly on the map.

• The number of attached items that can be registered has been updated to 1,000 for weapons, reactors, and external components.

Offspring

• ‘Thrill Bomb’ and ‘Lightning Emission’ with the Ultimate Bunny ‘High-Voltage’ module now target nearby targets instead of random targets.

• Yujin’s ‘Reconstruction Serum’ ‘Allergy’ now applies to Colossus as well.

• The sound effects of Ultimate Bunny ‘Electric Charge’, ‘High-Voltage’ and Bunny ‘Electric Condense’ have been changed.

• ‘Use Bunny’s skills to electrocute enemies’ has been removed from the 2nd and 3rd evolution conditions of the Bunny Evolving Skin ‘Speedy Awakened One’.

Infiltration operation

• You can now view mission results via the ESC menu after completing an infiltration operation.

• The time limit for destroying the Ironheart has been removed in the Infiltration Operation ‘Fortress – Heart of the Fortress’.

• The location of the supply robot in the Infiltration Operation ‘Fortress – Quarantine Zone’ has been moved to the battle area, making it easier to resupply bullets.

Mission

• The position of named monsters’ immunity orbs no longer changes when the monsters move or turn.

• The sequential orb type of the Named Immunity of ‘Alternative Hand of Nazeistra’ that appears in White-night Gulch ‘Eye of Truth’ has been updated.

Field

• The amount of drops on the Hard difficulty has been increased by approximately 1.5.

Mixed

• The stacking limit for consumables has been increased from 1 million to 100 million.

• Updated some icon images.

Optimization improvements

• Fixed a memory leak that occasionally occurred in windowed mode.

• Fixed memory leak when using Frame Generation.

• Fixed temporary framedrop issue when opening inventory with DLSS Frame Generation.

• Fixed an issue where the frame limit was not restored even if additional options were changed to Off when DLSS Frame Generation or FSR Frame Generation was enabled.
