Amazon Prime Day 2024 is back, and that means you can shop for can’t-miss deals on everything from electronics for the essentials for home at the Mammoth store. Although it is only live for two days, July 16 and 17, the blockbuster event is a great opportunity to save for Prime members.

When is the next Prime Day?
Prime Day, Amazon’s annual two-day sales event with sales now live, typically takes place in July. Exact dates for Prime Day 2025 have not yet been officially announced, as Amazon typically confirms dates a few weeks before the event.
But based on past Prime Day sales, we can make an educated guess as to when Prime Day 2025 might happen. Historically, Prime Day has been held in July. In 2023, Prime Day will fall on July 11-12. Amazon typically schedules Prime Day so that it doesn’t overlap with major U.S. holidays like the Fourth of July.
That means Prime Day 2025 will likely occur on either July 14-15 or July 21-22, 2025. Those dates fall on the second and third Monday and Tuesday combinations of the month, respectively. But it’s important to note that these are just estimates based on past trends. We don’t know the exact dates, so make sure to confirm them before making any decisions.

Will Amazon Have Another Sale Day in 2024?
It is almost certain that Amazon will have additional deal days in 2024. Outside of its annual Prime Day event, Amazon has introduced other deal days throughout the year in the past. One example is the Amazon Early Access Sale, also known as “Prime Early Access Sale” or “Prime Day October,” which kicked off in October 2022.
It’s a two-day event that offers exclusive deals to Prime members. It traditionally takes place in the fall, usually in October, and serves as the kick-off for the holiday shopping season. While exact dates for the 2024 Early Access Sale have not yet been confirmed, if it goes ahead it will likely take place in October of this year.
Amazon occasionally offers other limited-time promotions and flash sales throughout the year, such as Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals, which give customers additional opportunities to save on their purchases. There are also opportunities for additional sales, such as the Amazon Big Spring Sale that we saw in March.

How often does Amazon have sale days like Prime Day?
Amazon typically hosts several major deal events throughout the year, with Prime Day being the most notable. On average, Amazon has at least two to three major deal events that comparable to Prime Day each year. But there are plenty of shopping opportunities that pop up outside of Prime’s usual summer schedule. Here’s a quick look at some of the deal days you can expect throughout the year.
Prime Day: This is Amazon’s largest and most popular deal event, held annually (usually in July). Prime Day is a two-day sale with exclusive discounts and lightning deals for Amazon Prime members. It has been an annual event since 2015, except in 2020 when it was postponed to October due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Amazon Early Access Sale: The Amazon Early Access Sale, launching in 2022, is another two-day event typically held in October that kicks off the holiday shopping season. Like Prime Day, it offers exclusive deals for Prime members, hence the “early access” part of the title. Amazon hasn’t yet confirmed an Early Access Sale for 2024, but it could still happen.
Black Friday and Cyber Monday: Amazon actively participates in these traditional holiday shopping events, offering a wide range of deals and discounts. These sales typically take place in late November, with Black Friday falling the day after Thanksgiving and Cyber Monday a few days later.
Various seasonal and flash sales: Throughout the year, Amazon typically has many sales tied to specific holidays or themes.
