Amazon has priced its 32-inch budget TV ridiculously low for Prime Day

PRIME DAY saw huge discounts across Amazon’s Fire TV range, with the 32-inch 2 series hitting its lowest price ever.

When the Fire TV series launched I bought it for £249.99. Now it’s a bargain at just £139.99.

I spent almost £250 on Amazon’s 32-inch Fire TV – it’s now 44% cheaper

£139.99 for Prime members (was £249.99)

Not only has the price of my 32-inch TV dropped, but Amazon has also slashed the prices of its entire Fire TV lineup as the Prime Day sale kicks off.

Of course I was immediately charmed by the model I now own. It is now available with a big discount that I did not expect when I bought it.

Prime members can buy the 32-inch Fire TV 2 Series for just £139.99 for the next 48 hours.

This is the lowest price yet, even lower than what I saw during the last sale on Amazon in March, when the price dipped just under £180.

You’ll need to be a Prime member or sign up for the 30-day free trial to take advantage of this offer, but with a saving of £110 on this deal alone, it’s well worth it.

If you are looking for a small set for bedrooms, children’s rooms or cozy spaces, I definitely recommend this one.

It’s the same model I have in my bedroom, and it’s perfect for me. I’ve been enjoying it every day since I got it (although I’m bummed I missed this deal).

The 32-inch screen is much bigger in smaller spaces, but it doesn’t dominate the room. I complained about the 720p resolution at the time, but that would be wasted on a TV this size.

But honestly, it’s just as good as HD, at least to my untrained eyes.

Amazon customers are also happy with their purchases, giving the company a solid 4.4 star rating. I think this score is well deserved.

“I can’t fault this,” said one reviewer in praise.[I] almost bought a set twice as expensive. Used in the bedroom, good quality picture and sound, very easy to set up and Alexa works great with it. 10/10 for this tv.”

Another wrote: “It’s a nice TV. Setup was very easy as I have other Amazon devices in my house so it does most of the work itself. Good picture and works well with my soundbar.”

Speaking of soundbars, Amazon recently launched a new £100 Fire TV soundbar that aims to solve a common problem among Fire TV users, myself included.

Given the low price, you usually have to compromise on quality.

Overall, it seems like most of those concerns have been addressed. The only downside is that the volume could use a bit more punch. So I’ll be keeping an eye on that soundbar myself.

If you’re considering getting a Fire TV but want something a little bigger, I spotted an early offer on the 55-inch 4-series model, discounted from £550 to just £330.

That’s an excellent deal for a TV of this size and calibre with 4K compatibility, and I’d recommend grabbing it before the offer ends tomorrow (Wednesday 17th July) at 11:59pm.
