Dead By Daylight is a fantastic multiplayer experience, and is already huge thanks to numerous collaborations with licensed horror icons. However, the universe is about to get even bigger thanks to BeHaviour’s plans for multiple spin-offs. The Casting of Frank Stone is coming later this year, but BeHaviour Interactive and Midwinter Entertainment have just released fresh concept art for another new multiplayer game set in the DBD universe.
There’s a lot to look forward to for Dead By Daylight’s near future. The July 2024 roadmap confirms a release date for the new 2v8 mode, and we’re also getting Lara Croft as a new survivor to coincide with the launch of Tome 20. And once this month is out, all eyes will be on Chapter 33, a crossover with CastleVania.
All of the above is exciting for the core Dead By Daylight experience, but fans can also look forward to new spin-off games. The Casting of Frank Stone is the most prominent, but there’s also the co-op multiplayer shooter, Project T.
New concept art for Dead By Daylight spin-off Project T
Project T is a new multiplayer spin-off set in the Dead By Daylight universe. It was re-lit during the 8th anniversary livestream, and is in early development with no ETA for when it will release.
While there is no estimated launch window, you can keep an eye on development by joining the Insider Program. This will provide you with newsletters to see how development is progressing, and will also give you the opportunity to participate in playtesting and provide feedback.
The very first newsletter recently dropped, and it shows off new concept art for the game. As shared by Dvveet on Twitter, the concept art shows off three playable characters. The woman is new, along with the man wearing the yellow jacket, and the concept art also shows off ominous landscapes, unique weapons, and more fearsome monsters known as the Thrall.
The Project T First Look video features even more concept art for the game, along with early gameplay and development details.
According to BeHaviour Interactive’s World Expansion announcement, “Project T is a 1-4 person co-op PVE shooter set in the world of Dead By Daylight”. Instead of being called Survivors like in DBD, the protagonists you’ll play as are “Tresspassers, a fierce group of characters trapped in a vast, unexplored area of The Entity’s Realm called The Blackwater”.
Again, it’s still very early in development, but the prospect of a DBD PVE co-op shooter is undoubtedly exciting. It’s being developed by Midwinter Entertainment, a BeHaviour Interactive company. This is different from The Casting of Frank Stone, which is being developed by independent studio Supermassive Games.
There is no exact date yet for when Project T will be released, but The Casting of Frank Stone is scheduled for 2024. There is no confirmed release date yet, but a leak suggests it is scheduled for September.
