Welcome to your Xbox games overview for July 1-5! Next week’s big highlights are the free-to-play release of The first descendant And Final Fantasy XIV Dawntrail expansion, but there are many more fun things!
Here’s what’s coming to Xbox next week:
New Xbox Releases (July 1-5)
- Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail (July 2): “Blue seas, clear skies, and limitless possibilities await you in Dawntrail, the latest expansion pack for the critically acclaimed Final Fantasy XIV game online! - The first descendant (July 2nd): “Fight the alien Vulgus and protect the planet Albion and the continent of Ingris! The First Descendant is a free-to-play third-person co-op action RPG looter shooter with high-quality graphics powered by Unreal Engine 5. Featuring a wide variety of characters with unique concepts and combat styles, huge boss battles, four-player co-op, a variety of weapons, and more!”
- Parkitect: Deluxe Edition (3 July): “Welcome to Parkitect: Deluxe Edition, a modern take on classic park tycoons where you build and manage the theme parks of your dreams. Build your own roller coasters, design an efficiently functioning park that fully immerses your guests in the theme and play through the campaign.”
- Shy cats hidden orchestra (3 July): “Shy Cats Hidden Orchestra is a hidden object game where you have to find musician kittens who are ashamed to play their music. If you find them, they will play songs for you.”
- Agatha Christie – The ABC Murders for XSX/XSS (July 4): “The ABC Murders is an adventure and investigation game based on the classic novel by Agatha Christie. The player embodies the famous Hercule Poirot in an adventure game from a third-person perspective full of mysteries. Once again the private detective faces a mysterious opponent called ABC.”
- Epic Astro Story (July 4): “Become a pioneer on an untamed planet, build roads and homes for your fellow future inhabitants. Cultivate your wayward colony into a stellar space citadel and you’ll attract alien tourists from all over this side of Alpha Centauri!”
- Home Run High (July 4): “Can you lead your high school baseball team to ultimate victory? It may be a small after-school club now, but with the right training, even the sky isn’t the limit for this team!”
- Scholar’s Mate (July 4): “Scholar’s Mate is an immersive first-person horror experience that places you in the shoes of Judith, a young woman who wakes up in the bleak facilities of a psychiatric hospital.”

- Cyber Citizen Shockman Zero (July 5): “A new mysterious enemy threatens the world again! Only one hero can save the world… Shockman! - Paper io 2 (July 5): “Paint the map in your own color, eliminate your opponents, get the highest score and take over the Paper io world. Take part in a fierce battle and become a champion!”
