Logitech is taking its game to the next level with the launch today of its new G515 LIGHTSPEED TKL wireless gaming keyboard. Part of the Logi G sub-brand, this new keyboard offers a number of high-end features in a discreet and more modern format than traditional mechanical gaming keyboards.
Low-profile keyboards have a sleeker design, although they still use the same mechanical switching technology found in high-end gaming keyboards. The slimmer profile means shorter keystroke recognition distances, allowing gamers to play more comfortably without increasing the number of actions per minute.
The G515 takes up less desk space and provides a more comfortable typing experience, improving gameplay without compromising traditional features. The low-profile design delivers faster keystrokes, allowing gamers to react more quickly during intense gaming sessions. With a height of only 22 mm, the G515 does not require a wrist rest

The low-profile switches used in the G515 have an actuation distance of just 1.3mm and a total travel distance of 3.2mm, shorter than traditional mechanical keyboard switches. The lightweight design and streamlined construction ensure more efficient gaming and comfortable in-game actions.
The G515 has a layer of sound-deadening foam and the switches and stabilizers are factory pre-lubricated for a smoother response. High-quality PBT keys provide a smooth typing experience and are durable to use even when the gameplay becomes a bit more intense.
In terms of advanced technology, the G515 keyboard features Logitech G’s recently announced KEYCONTROL technology, allowing gamers to extensively customize a keyboard. Each key can perform up to 15 different actions, allowing gamers to customize their keyboard and assign macros, audio cues and lighting effects to keys.

The G515 also features Logitech’s LIGHTSPEED Wireless Pairing, which allows gamers to connect their gaming mouse, such as the G502 X PLUS, via the G515 LIGHTSPEED dongle. This also frees up an extra USB port.
With LIGHTSYNC RGB lighting, players can customize their keyboard with a choice of 16.8 million colors and connect all their Logitech G gear via G HUB. The keyboard has three connection modes: LIGHTSPEED wireless, Bluetooth and USB-C wired mode. A full charge of the G515’s built-in battery can provide up to 36 hours of continuous gameplay before needing a recharge.
