MCDONALD’S is set to make a major menu shake-up in just hours.
The fast food giant is adding a never-before-seen drink to its offering, meaning it’s leaving behind another fan favorite.
As exclusively revealed by Sun Money, Maccies is launching the new Oreo Frappe from tomorrow.
The sweet drink features the usual vanilla base mixed with ice and Oreo pieces.
It is then topped with more Oreo pieces and cream.
A new regular Oreo Frappe costs £3.09, and a larger variant costs £3.39.
The drink will appear on the menu in all restaurants in the UK and Republic of Ireland on Wednesday 26 June.
Foodies have already taken to social media to share their excitement about the frappe.
One said: “We will definitely try this.”
Another wrote: “Now I would try these!!!”
A third commented: “I’m ready for this.”
“Looks yummy,” wrote a fourth.
The Oreo Frappe won’t be on the market for much longer, as it is only available until Tuesday, September 3.
And while a new menu option is always welcome, it’s bad news for Biscoff Frappe lovers.
The Oreo Frappe will replace the Biscoff Frappe, which was a big hit with fans.
Some are unimpressed that their beloved Biscoff edition is being cut and have voiced their opinions on social media.
One wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter: “The Biscoff Frappe is the best creation you’ve ever made – how can you not make it permanent? *cries*.”
“Had a Biscoff Frappe today. Absolutely beautiful,” said another.
Others are devastated to see it replaced, and aren’t too keen on the alternative.
One fan said: “It better be as good as the other one. I’ll be very disappointed.”
A second wrote: “I wish they could have both on the menu.”
While a third posted: “No, save the Biscoff Frappe!”
And another said: “What a downgrade.”
The beloved frappe has a vanilla flavor base and is mixed with ice cream and cookie crumbs.
It is then covered with caramel-flavored cream and a layer of crumbs.
The Sun reviewed the all-new McDonald’s frappe, based on an iconic cookie, in April.
We also found that it tasted like a milkshake, but didn’t have the same thick consistency as classic Maccies shakes.
If you want to give it a try, you only have until the end of the day today.
The Biscoff Frappe costs £2.99, but you’ll have to be quick as it’s coming off the menu at the end of the day tomorrow.

What else is on McDonald’s summer menu?
McDonald’s introduced a new summer menu on Wednesday, May 29.
The fast food giant has added eight new items to its main offering, including returning favorites.
The range includes the brand new Hat Trick burger and a new McFlurry.
The burger consists of three beef patties, two slices of cheese, grilled onions, mustard and ketchup on a glazed sesame seed bun.
The Hat Trick costs €5.89, but you can upgrade to a meal with medium fries and a drink for €7.69.
The Skittles McFlurry is a soft dairy ice cream with chewy pieces of Skittles fudge and sugary pearls, topped with a purple Skittles-flavored sauce.
For those who prefer a warm dessert, the Galaxy Chocolate and Raspberry Pie (€1.99) has also been introduced.
The fast food chain ended its ‘3 for £3’ deal across its stores in Britain and Ireland earlier this month.
The offer allowed Maccies fans to choose three popular dishes and pay just £3 for the whole thing – meaning each item costs just £1 each.
We asked the fast food chain if it plans to reintroduce the offering in the near future.
McDonald’s regularly changes its menu offerings to give foodies the opportunity to try new and returning items.
If you want to try one of these additions, don’t wait: They’re only on the menu for six weeks.
In our estimation, fans can enjoy the next one round summer articles on July 10.
