Jet2 launches new European program to ‘once-in-a-lifetime destination’ from all 12 UK airport bases

Many British people have already planned their summer holidays and would like to book their winter holidays.

With the help of Jet2 and Jet2CityBreaks, holidaymakers can experience Iceland’s beautiful landscapes through 12 UK airports. Flights go to Keflavík International Airport near Reykjavik.


The airline said: “Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have announced details of their unique trips to Iceland for winter 25/26, unveiling a program that offers customers and independent travel agents an unrivaled choice of departure points, including flights and city breaks from the new British airport bases Bournemouth and Liverpool John Lennon.

“With holidaymakers flocking to book flights and holidays to this bucket list destination, the leading leisure airline and Britain’s largest provider of city breaks to Europe has launched their largest ever Iceland program for next winter, covering all twelve UK airport bases. “

Britons across the UK can access the programme. Jet2 added: “In addition to flights to Iceland from brand new airports, Bournemouth (an exclusive route) and Liverpool John Lennon, services to the unique destination are also available for the first time from Belfast International, Bristol, Birmingham International Airports, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, London Stansted, Manchester and Newcastle.

Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks will operate more than 170 outbound services between October 2025 and April 2026.

The airline said: “This gives customers and independent travel agents an incredible choice when it comes to seeing the Northern Lights and the abundance of natural wonders that Iceland has to offer.”

The versatile program allows Brits to travel in several stages during the winter of 25/26. Holidaymakers can visit Iceland during the October half term, the February half term, the Easter holidays and during the countdown to Christmas.

And offer customers a lot of flexibility when it comes to which month or period they want to travel.

For those keen to see a breathtaking natural phenomenon, the flights are “perfectly timed for those who want to witness the spectacular Northern Lights and experience the best of Iceland”.
