Destiny 2’s Echoes episode is in full swing in week two of the year, the follow-up content to The Final Shape and the start of a new seasonal model that looks a lot like the old seasonal model so far.
That includes a range of new Vex-inspired weapons, and while more will be added later, we currently have six that we can craft and craft. And this time it’s quite easy to get red edges (find and deposit those materials!) so maybe you can do this in a short time. And you need some god buns. So let’s get started.
Lost Signal God Rolls (Grene Launcher for Stasis Area Denial)
Autoloader/Slooper or Vorpal – I find it difficult to use almost any grenade launcher without autoloading, but this brand new type of frame works a little differently than others. But if I wanted to stick with this, I would choose Demo or Vorpal for the second slot depending on what I was using it for.
Statistics for all/One for all – The new AOE frame means you’ll often be hitting a bunch of enemies at once, so this combo to give you a quick reload boost after also running One for All for a big damage increase is a good option if you ask me.
Stats for all or edge for gold/reverb – I’m not completely sold on this new perk that increases AOE after kills, but if you want to see how it goes, I’d use one of these two in the first column.
Veiled Threat God Rolls (Stasis Auto Rifle)
Strategist/desperate measure or gravestone – Obviously this is build dependent, but since a lot of Prismatic stuff is class skill focused, you might want the new perk that lets you get that energy back.
Loose change/gravestone – Shattering those crystals on a Stasis build is a recipe for getting a lot of shards, and there’s a new frag that can give you shards on a normal Stasis kill, so that could make Loose Change a common perk.
Nasty the Pain/Gutshot Straight – A possible PvP roll with a new perk that boosts a weapon’s handling and aim assist while taking damage.
Timeworn Wayfarer (Solar Scout Rifle)
Heal Clip/Light Bulb – The classic combo, although a word of caution here, this weapon may not activate the Heal Clip as well as others, so you’ll have to test it out to see if you think it’s worth it.
Double charger or keep away/light bulb or desperate measures – Now we’re talking. You may not know this, but Dual Loader has been polished so that the reload speed no longer decreases at all, so for a weapon like this you can now fully load it quickly. And without Outlaw, this might be the best option, aside from Keep Away, which is another option.
To the pain/eye of the storm or the opening shot – PvP, give it a try.
Line of Sight Search (Arc Hand Cannon)
Illuminated Action or Stay Away/Voltshot – You need something to reload Voltshot faster, and once you have that, this feels great.
Illuminated action/precision instrument or opening shot or eye of the storm – One of these should result in a decent PvP combo.
Faith-Keeper (invalid rocket launcher)
Clown pattern/reverb – An interesting combination here, as Clown Cartridge’s second shot would have a larger AOE if you killed the previous missile.
Auto-loading holster/explosive light or lasting impact – A more traditional role for a rocket that doesn’t exactly make it super unique.
Field preparer/demolition worker – A way to get more ammo reserves and also a second rocket after a thrown grenade. Again, kind of a standard.
Sick Omen (Stasis Sword)
Ruthless attacks/cold steel, whirlwind or surrounded – Look man, I don’t know what to tell you, legendary swords are pretty boring, and now we have Ergo Sum…
