Earlier this year, Samsung ushered in the era of mobile AI with the launch of the Galaxy S24 series and committed to introducing Galaxy AI1 on a larger number of devices. True to this promise, Samsung is now bringing Galaxy AI to the Galaxy Watch, improving its popular health features. By combining powerful on-device AI with the comprehensive Samsung Health app, Samsung is on track to build some of the most personalized and secure health experiences yet.
Advanced intelligence for more holistic insights and motivation
Samsung has been on a mission to deliver an advanced health and wellness experience, starting with using meaningful and actionable insights to help you better understand your health patterns. Of Energy score2you can gain a better understanding of your daily state through a combined analysis of personal health data, including average sleep time, sleep time consistency, bed/wake time consistency, sleep timing, previous day activity, sleep heart rate and heart rate variability3 to help you plan your day. Plus, Wellness tips4 helps you achieve your personal health goals by providing insights, motivational tips and guidance based on the specific goal you want to achieve.
Greater precision and accuracy
Accurate and comprehensive health metrics are the foundation for the best intelligent health experiences. Because good health starts with a good night’s sleep, Samsung strengthens this sleep AI algorithm to provide additional in-depth sleep insights. Newly added sleep indicators for Sleep insights provide you with a more detailed and accurate analysis of your sleep quality, so you can better understand your sleep patterns and develop better habits. These added statistics include movement during sleep, sleep latency, heart rate and respiratory rate during sleep in addition to previously supported metrics such as snoring hours, blood oxygen level and sleep cycle.
Brand new fitness features provide intelligent and effortless physical capacity measurements for a more customized workout, traditionally delivered by highly advanced equipment. In addition to the five running intensity levels of the personalized health rate zone, newly detailed Aerobic threshold (AT) / anaerobic threshold (AnT) Heart rate zone5 Statistics support efficient running and also quickly analyze performance. In addition, cyclists can easily calculate Functional Threshold Power (FTP) measurement data in just 10 minutes6 and train like a pro by using a personalized power index based on AI data analysis to maximize performance. Fitness tracking tools also make it easier to track workouts and progress. With the new one Workout routineCombine different exercises for a personalized workout and move seamlessly to the next exercise without stopping. Stay motivated and track your progress while running or cycling Race7comparing current and past performance on the same routes.

5 Heart rate zone personalization enabled when selecting outdoor running activity. It is required to run consistently for more than 10 minutes at a speed of 4 km/h or faster.
6 To measure personalized FTP, the Galaxy smartphone must be connected to a power meter. To calculate a more accurate FTP, it is necessary to connect the Galaxy Watch to a smartphone. The FTP is automatically calculated when you cycle at a medium to high intensity for more than 4 minutes with the cycling power meter attached to your bicycle. Using machine learning, the more users ride repeatedly, the more accurate and personalized FTP values will be calculated. The bicycle power meter is sold separately. The traditional duration of the FTP analysis on professional equipment is on average a maximum of 1 hour.
7 Race is only available for outdoor running and outdoor cycling. For comparative measurements it is necessary to follow the same path as the pre-generated path. Users can compare by selecting any of the records from a time frame of up to 14 days ago. Comparing records during the Race is only possible if you start at the same location as the starting point of the previous record. If the starting points deviate, it will automatically be converted to running mode.
