UPDATE 5pm UK: Wuthering Waves developer Kuro Games has detailed its improvement plan for the game after a shaky launch.
Major improvements include redesigning the skip function and increasing the number of skippable scenes, plus optimizing combat with better controller usage and feedback. These points and more are outlined in a new blog post.
To further compensate for the disruption, players will receive ten Radiant Tides for gacha pulls, as well as a free custom 5-Star Standard Resonator voucher.

ORIGINAL STORY 11am UK: The developer behind new gacha adventure Wuthering Waves has apologized for the number of bugs and delay issues at launch.
The game launched globally yesterday (UK time) but has already undergone multiple hotfixes, the latest of which forced an uninstall and reinstall of the game, Eurogamer can confirm.
An English post on Furthermore, a BiliBili post in Chinese includes a full apology.

“We have identified a number of issues that have been impacting your gaming experience and are now actively working on solutions,” the developer wrote. “We are committed to continuous self-reflection and improvement, with your satisfaction being our top priority. We are incredibly grateful for your understanding and patience during our recent technical issues.”

Furthermore, a news item on the game’s website contains a list of known issues. That includes a login timeout issue that has supposedly been fixed, age verification issues in certain areas, and the need to log in repeatedly when the game client is restarted on the PC.
The post also acknowledges issues with localization quality and performance. “We have received feedback regarding the localization quality of the game,” it reads. “Ensuring high-quality localization has always been a priority for us, and we are fully committed to improving it. Currently, our team is constantly working to correct and optimize the localized texts to provide an enjoyable experience for Rovers around the world .the known issues with the current localized texts will be included in the patches that will be released soon.”
It continues: “Rest assured that we are committed to providing the best possible experience for our players, and that we take performance concerns seriously. In future updates, we will continue to optimize the game’s performance to improve your gaming experience. experience.”
